Our Cyber Trust Award

Digipixel is the first digital agency to be awarded the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust Practitioner marks by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. We are also eligible for the ISO-27001 Award.

As a digital agency, we are entrusted with our clients’ assets, such as logos, data, and payment information; we also host clients’ websites. We are aware that this information is sensitive and needs to be protected against hackers, ransomware, and other cyber threats. We also know that a company’s website is an important touchpoint with its customers. This is especially relevant and urgent to our business as we are cognizant of the rising tide of cyber-crime and understand that new threats are constantly emerging. We operate in a landscape of ever evolving risks and threats, and know the importance of safeguarding clients’ information, assets, and websites against malignant entities that want to access and use it for their own nefarious purposes.

As such, we decided to take steps to ensure that our clients’ information and websites are in safe hands with us. In order to provide the best-in-class cyber protections to our clients, we opted to invest in attaining the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust Practitioner Awards. These certifications are also part of our journey towards attaining the prestigious, internationally-recognized ISO 27001 award.

The Cyber Essentials Award is a cybersecurity certification granted by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and is a more basic standard of cyber security than the Cyber Trust Practitioner Award. Attaining the Cyber Essentials Award is proof that we have safeguarded our systems and operations from common cyber-attacks. This allows us to ensure that our clients’ assets are protected and that their websites have a baseline resilience in the face of common cyber threats.

What the Cyber Trust Practitioner Award means to our clients

The Cyber Trust Practitioner Award is a more advanced cybersecurity certification and is tailored to larger or more digitized organization. In view of our extensive operations in the digital space, we decided to embark on a journey towards attaining the industry best practices for cybersecurity. This award is a sign that we have accomplished the following:

Under the cyber governance and oversight guideline, we have deployed measures for risk management of data and assets in view of cyber threats. We also follow compliance measures with regard to cyber security, as enshrined by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. This ensures that your data will not be accessed by unauthorised entities.
Under the cyber education guideline, we have trained our team on the appropriate ways to secure and handle data, and how not to fall victim to social-engineering by hackers. So you can be sure that your data and website are in good hands with our team.
Under the information asset protection guideline, we have ensured that our asset management, data protection and privacy, backups, system security, and anti-virus/anti-malware are up to the stringent standards set by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. This ensures that our computers and servers are protected from malware that could otherwise do a lot of damage to your business.
Under the secure access and environment guideline, we have implemented access control to our computers and servers, physical and environmental security, and network security. This ensures that unauthorised personnel cannot access our computers or servers.
Under the cybersecurity resilience guideline, we have implemented an incident response SOP for how to mitigate the effects of cybersecurity breaches and we have a business continuity plan so that your websites remain up and running in the most extreme operational disruptions.

In order to attain this Cyber Trust Practitioner Award, we collaborated with cybersecurity professionals to tailor solutions optimized for our activities, and trained our employees on cybersecurity knowledge and prevention against cyber threats and attacks. This ultimately led to our success in achieving the Cyber Security Agency’s Cyber Trust Practitioner Award, which recognizes our robust cybersecurity practices.

Paving our way to the ISO 27001 Award

On top of being a proof of our cyber security best practices, these awards from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore are our latest step towards attaining the ISO 27001 Award.

The ISO 27001 Award is an internationally recognized award. Firms and organizations that comply with the ISO 27001’s cyber security standards are eligible for the ISO 27001 Award.

The ISO 27001 standard provides guidelines on how to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve an information security management system. Conforming to ISO 27001 standards means that a business has implemented a system to secure the data that is owned, or handled, by the company. And that this system is in compliance with the ISO 27001’s best practices and principles.

With these cybersecurity certifications and practices, we are now empowered to prevent data theft, cybercrime, and privacy leaks. These practices enhance our (and our clients’) level of security. In addition, since information security is built into our operations, processes, and management practices, we have gained in both security and efficiency and see that these investments will pay dividends and power our growth in the years to come.
