Modernizing Studyworks' Website and Developing a Custom-Built Booking System
What was the goal of the project?
To create a website and a booking portal that aligns with Studyworks’ mission, streamline booking processes and boost registrations.
What unique features were implemented?
- Student-Focused Navigation: A tailored user-experience for students, clearly displaying exam information and registration guides
- Booking Software System: Seamless management of bookings for both students and administrators alike, complete with validation, verification and payment
What platforms and tools were used?
WordPress and Elementor Pro were utilised for functionality and scalability, while also allowing Studyworks to easily manage the websites on their own.

Challenges
Unintuitive Booking Process and Presentation of Key Information
Studyworks faced issues with its previous website and booking portal, highlighting an outdated and unintuitive booking process – potentially leading to a loss of registrations. Another glaring issue of the outdated design was how key information such as registration, payment and navigation were presented – wall of texts with poor formatting, as opposed to bite-sized pieces that users can easily digest.
Solutions
Modern Website with Intuitive User Experience and a Streamlined Booking Process
To address the key issues of the previous website, we brainstormed a masterplan to separate the main website and the booking platform – streamlining the user journey and providing clarity to students. We designed and developed the Studyworks website to efficiently display information about exams offered and administrative matters – vastly improving readability by condensing lengthy paragraphs to bite-sized pieces. The booking portal was developed with a custom software, tailored to Studyworks’ specific needs – enabling users to manage bookings and administrative matters with ease.
